sorry, big guy, but i scrapped the project.  it's not because i got
discouraged after seeing your mecha, but rather, i got as far as the lower
leg and it just turned out crappy.  nonetheless, i thought i'd delve a
little into the "chicken walker" design and i came up with something really
cool.  i've seen so many humanoid mecha (gundam) and mecha resembling
animals (mark neuman/mechwarrior)that i decided to do a hybrid project (i
really dig hybrids).  it consists of the backwards "chicken walker" legs,
but with a humanoid torso; kind of like some "armored core" designs. i'm
having a little trouble with the torso, but i'm not giving up on this one
'cause the legs look great!  expect pics in the near future.

dude, i've been trying to make a mecha similar to those proportions right
now:  wasp waist, big shoulders, big calves and slim shins, and, of course,
the elongated foot.  it's like you read my mind and then built your mecha.
not fair!!!  mine looks terrible, and yours looks sleek.  oh well, back to
the drawing board.
