The white was born more out of necesssity at virst, but the colors did look
good together! The ankles were the first things to be made, so they see to
have more time put into the design. The knees? I can see how the FSS mechs
have those huge knee guards, my proportions do seem a little off, but I
wasn't going for an EXACT replica of any one Mortar Headd. I actually tried
bulking the thighs up, but in the end I went back to this for two reasons,
1. The hip armor layed better 2. One of the Mortar Headds had really skinny
thighs and arms, and I like to exaggerate and super-elongate stuff.

Are you refering the up-turned toe part?

That was a little complicated and is the second weakest part of the whole
mech. each side is five blue hinges just to get it to sit!

Like I said before on the thighs, I like to make my stuff long and skinny.
If you have seen that old show that was on MTV approx 8 years ago called
Aeon Flux, you can get an idea of what I mean, or that new show on
weeknights Adult Swim on Cartoon Network, Reign, The Conquerer, made by the
same dudes. All the characters look really lean, and long.

I am still photographing the mech because I can't get the poses to look
genuine. It's harder to pose then you would think! I tried some squats and
punching things, but they looked corny.

Ah the head, I am still amazed that a section so small and non-load bearing
COULD PISS ME OFF SO MUCH! I admit I let the stability fall on head for more
design, but the damn thing falls off every 5 minutes! If I do revise this,
the head is GONE :D

I am very glad you gave honest and good critisms, it make my reply that more
involving!
