The mecha sets are pretty cool, there are going to be two I think.

But what is notable about the sets is that they will allow you to build say,
four small mechs, two medium sized mechs, or one really big mech.  There may
or may not be complete instructions for all the models.  The Make and Create
line is geared to be a box of brick you just dig into with some helpful
hints to get you started.

Mark

Not quite.  There are two mech sets in the make 'n' create line.  One will
allow you to build 3 minimecha in 3 different colors.  The other will allow
you to build one large mech.  These are the main models, pictured on the
cover of the box.  From there you can build whatever floats your boat.

I saw these sets at Brickswest.  In fact, Dave Johann and I sat there for
like half an hour playing with the mecha just marvelling at how nifty they are.

Does anyone have the scoop on what these mini-sets are about?  are those little
mini mecha sets?  Anyone at Brickswest know what's up?

Chris

Adrian is correct in that we spent quite a while checking out the new parts
and getting some ideas of what to expect from this line. I was impressed
with the overall line and absolutely loved the animals set (lizard, crab,
ant, etc) due to the sheer number of parts included. One warning though-if
you aren't a fan of click hinges, you won't like these sets.

The mecha set is fairly impressive for what it is, but isn't groundbreaking
in terms of connection ideas. It's entirely click-hinge based which was a
bit upsetting, but the overall parts included more than make up for this.
Think of the LoM mechs and you'll have a pretty good idea of how the lower
torso is built. Colors in this set: Blue, Light Blue, Orange, Dark Grey,
Light Grey.
