I just came across this new release giant robot title yesterday. It was
orginally produced in 2000 and now th first DVD has hit the shelves in the
US February 4th. I found my copy in the strangest place...WAL*MART! I also
got it for a great price of only $19.00, everywhere else I see it for
$30.00. Anyway I watched it last night, and I am truely impressed with this
DVD. The sound is good and you can switch from Japanese to English and visa
versa. The animation is beautiful and the storyline is to die for.
Oh and by the way, there a mech in too!! This agency called FUNERAL is the
top dog in giant alien extermination. The crew of FUNERAL pilots SARGs
(pronounced ZARGs) which are variable fighters that transform from jet-like
things to really cool human form mecha. They are driven by unknown alien
engines that allow them to make impossible flight manuvers, but they can
only run for about 20 mins.
I can't wait until the next in the set hits the shelves. I highly suggest
you check this one out. TWO THUMBS UP.
