on your drop ship, the cannons on the side of the front cockpit(the two light
gray ones) i noticed they look a little loose (considering the pieces you
used), and if not, how did you not make it loose?
the dropship and hull is also very cool, i always try to build some drop
carrier thing, but it usually sucks. I really like the magnet idea too. Do the
mechs stay still, one magnet isnt much power? The ship halves are also very
cool looking, halo-esque (xbox video game) look to em.
large mech:
mechanical gritty feel to em. very neat. I ilke how it has all these rods going
throughout the legs, like shocks and pneumatics/hydraulics. The feet are pretty
kicken too, sord of a crow look to e. the missile launchers are kinda wimpy
though, they could fire like half a foot long missiles and the exhaust wouldnt
even go out very well. make the missile launchers on the shoulders a couple
bricks longer ;) i like the windows you choose for your crafts and mechs,
windows and heads get sorda boring, i like to see a small sight hole once in a
while.
small mech:
im gonna be sincere here, the small mech is sorda.. lame. but considering it
can fold up and looks pretty damn good folded up, easily passable. I think the
fact that they just drop and fold out is a very cool idea, and was executed
perfectly. Maybe some arms on it would be cooler, simple little arms with 1x1
plate modified clip parts, just to grasp something.
other craft:
i dont think this craft has nearly as much flare as the other one, and the
design is kinda boring, like a big block.

i whipped up this in like a minute, just a sketch of what could improve it
Station:
i loev how it has the classic style look, one big wall with troops scaling the
top. very very smooth base wall too, melts like butta :-p i saw your doors too,
those are cool, look like large vaults
solders:
all i gotta say is you got a SH** load of mini figure stuff man
PS. take my critique with a grain of salt considering i am MECH n00b! (well not
bionicle mech.. just lego mech)

| Greg, thanks for the constructive criticism. It was plain to see that you put some thought into your commentary. You gave me a good deal of praise, and a few good-natured blasts. I thought I would take a moment to respond. (...) -They are loose, but (...) (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| Thanks to everyone who took the time to give me some feedback on station 45. The comments and kudos were quite an ego-stroke. I've been lurking in mecha for quite a while, and until Brickswest, I was convinced my stuff wasn't up to par. Eric, Jeff, (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
