  Re: Mechastruct Entry: Mighty Mech

And the moral of all of this is; do not mess with cats. They're evil through and through. I should know, I got three. I just hate to think what they are building in the back yard. Neat mech Eric. I particuarily like the fairy wings on the back. Arms (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Starscream, Prime and Megatron Preview

*the sound of a dull thud echoes around the halls as my Jaw hits the floor* NIIIICE :D absolutely superb work here, dead on likeness on each, I'm so very impressed - but they don't transform :( my optimus may not look as impressive, but he does (...)   Re: Starscream, Prime and Megatron Preview

I really like this trend in mecha. Transformers rock! My suggestions would be perhaps some of the smaller ones that actually transform, like Bumblebee or Brawn. Since you got Prime, maybe Ultra Magnus wouldn't be too hard to make. And why not try (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Starscream, Prime and Megatron Preview

OH MY LORD! Those are SPOT-ON perfect, both to the DreamWave comics and the original cartoon. They are, quite frankly, the most perfect representations of any Transformers characters that I've ever seen...no offense meant to anyone else, but I am (...) Wow. I'd buy 'em. He's not an autobot, but I'm definitely a Soundwave fan (thus, the Ravage). I was thinking of reworking Ravage and making the other cassettes. :) If you want to make a Soundwave, let me know. I'd love to get them to work together (...)   Starscream, Prime and Megatron Preview

Hi all. I've posted a preview picture of my 3 finished Transformer figures. You'll recognize Megatron of course, but he's had some refinements since you last saw him, including custom stickers and a black gun. Optimus and Starscream are new, I think (...)   Re: mechastruct entry: AV-05 Gunjin

it's interesting how you pointed out the "compact" look. to take it one step further, it's not only compact, but fairly basic in design and appearance. there's very little "fringe" parts, so detail was not a major priority for me. in fact, i tried (...)   Re: mechastruct entry: AV-05 Gunjin

(...) Incredibly awesome entry. Kind of compact, yet imposing. I like how you included plenty of articulation to make it posable, provided, makes for a nice aspect to any mech, per se. Exemplary. Great job. Peace out, <<_Matt Hein_>> Fellow lego (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

coming from the master, i am profoundly honored. you also did a fantastic job on the rttdd. not only is it an original idea, but you emulated the form of a cat very nicely. i can only hope to be competition for you. good luck, and may the best (...) you are correct in that assessment. the head does look like a zaku. in fact, the mouthpiece/hose assembly i got from sun yun's zaku. that was the last part of the head i added (with reservation). i would have avoided that part and went for the (...) Jason Coronado, I must say that is a VERY SWEET mecha. You did an amazing job with that gla-glaish chasis. The legs are by far the nicest and most attractive section.
