Thanks, that's what I shoot for.  Big stompa mechs!  Extra shooty!

I like
the miniguns and the power plant the best.  speaking of the engine, do you
choose parts that are more cosmetic to the engine look, or do you actually
build it as if each part served a specific purpose.  on my gunjin, much of
the backpack was put together for looks, thus i could in no way explain how
it would work if it were real life.  is that how you do it?

A little of both actually.  I think (mind you no-one's made a fusion/fission
powered battlemech yet so I don't know) that the thing should have some kind
of reactor.  In DW's case, he's got two.  The long cyldrical things.  The
bit on the hind quarter section of the body seems to me to be some kind of
radiator.  Hoses, big grill.
The rest is for effect.  I just look at the space and promply try to fill it
with interesting looking machinery.  All the yellow octogons seem to me they
should be some kind of sheilding or armor.  Perhaps this should be the
reactor proper.  I don't know, I just followed what the big mech in my
backyard looks like,.... whoops, I shouldn't have said that....
Engines are another thing I try to incorporate into my mechs.  Almost all of
my creations have them.  The smallest frame I managed to to it in was ORC.

btw, engrossing storyline.

Thanks, got to put that degree to use somehow.  I'm thinking of expanding
the story so keep an eye out.  Depending on how quick I build you should see
another mech coming soon.
