I really like Megatron, but I have to say, Starscream is my new favorite! WOW!
It's a good thing you positioned Megatron to the side, and not with his back to
Starscream ;-)
Optimus Prime looks really good, too; but I think he didn't have enough room at
the edge of the table to strike a really good pose (i.e. legs spread out
slightly). I look forward to his own pics. Optimus has always been a favorite
of mine.
Next choice is IMO obvious - SOUNDWAVE!
As for licensing w/ Hasbro and Lego, I wouldn't hold my breath. I've heard two
Lego responses to the question of Lego in general, both from Brad Justus. His
first response was something to the effect of "Lego has no interest in
producing mecha sets"; the second came during Brickswest, nine months later.
He said something to the effect of "I would be interested in producing a mecha
in the 'My Own Creation' series, but mecha are to violent, the guns too
prominent - which is against what Lego stands for". Mix in trying to license
with Hasbro, and possible conflicts with terms for the Star Wars licensing
agreement...
I would concentrate on trying to sell the sets independently. I think a lot of
people would pay good money for them.
Excellent work, as always!
Later,
Chris

I agree with you, but still it is a shame. Perhaps they could (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| As I said, I won't hold my breath. Getting TLC interested is a long shot, but it's the only way these will ever be available as kits. I've looked into trying to produce them independently, and obtaining the parts is not even practical. Whether TLC (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| Hi all. I've posted a preview picture of my 3 finished Transformer figures. You'll recognize Megatron of course, but he's had some refinements since you last saw him, including custom stickers and a black gun. Optimus and Starscream are new, I think (...)
