it's interesting how you pointed out the "compact" look. to take it one
step further, it's not only compact, but fairly basic in design and
appearance. there's very little "fringe" parts, so detail was not a major
priority for me. in fact, i tried to add fringe, but it contradicted the
overall simplicity of the design. it's still only my second mech, so
perhaps complexity will come with experience.
