You are the god of sloped bricks!

Hehe, Black is easy now, white is hard.  I'm am looking for many more (36 to be
exact) white corners to fix the 2nd problem. (You found problems 1 and 3 (which
I didn't notice)).

Say, do those game pieces fit down around onto the 2x2 tiles? -- way cool!!!

The above question has a mixed answer.  Some do, yes, some don't, no.  The ones
that don't are the pawns, and the source of the 2nd problem.  The large pieces
have a 4x4 base with L corners allowing them to sit over a raised tile.  The
pawns are on a 3x3 base and hence can't.  My thought last night was to make the
pawns 4x4 as well with the L corner base, 4x4 plate and then a pyramid of slopes
topped with a round 2x2 or 2.

Hrm, now to take you up on that challenge you posed on your webpage -- to find
the two errors in the picture...  OK, first error is that the kings and queens
are on the wrong squares -- the white king is correctly placed on a black
square, but the board should be rotated 90 degrees, which would swap the kings
and queens into their proper positions.  The other error -- hmmm, hmm, hm,...

Ya got me there.  I always forget if the white square is at the right corner or
left corner.  I chose... poorly.  :)

oh dear.

good heavens.

that poor knight!

Better lay off the scotch while operating the transporter beam!  :)

BINGO!  I apparently inserted the knight part file 3 times instead of 2.  Oops!

I'll work on fixing these and maybe implementing the new pawn idea too.

Fortunately the grid of tiles on the board is built as a grid of 2x2 squares,
which in itself is built of single square groups.  Made it much easier to build
the board.  If anyone is interested I can post all the .dat files involved.

Rob
