I just added a new mecha to my site. The "hair" like things on the head are actually antennae for recieving messages, inspiration: Predator (movie). It also has, as Jeremey H. Well, I'm the wrong one to ask - I've been buying old Fire sets from Ebay JUST for the rolling garage doors. But I'm building them too - I have a 6382/6389/6571 sitting around the house, as soon as I decide which to keep whole, the rest are getting (...) I saw those books and I though...you MUST be kidding me. It is bad enough that LEGO claims that LEGOLand is made with bricks that anyone can get, but in that book. Gee, when you said Studs Not On Top I thought your were refering to a building style; using bricks in a way that their studs are not on top where they should be. I think that SNOT is a malformed acronym then... We have been using derogatory acronyms to exemplify parts that we dislike because they aren't true to the spirit of Lego. Two more excellent mechs! There seems to be a lot of great new mecha being built right now. I especially like the Siren, reminds me a lot of the Talgeese from Gundam Wing. Great design, and big too! Eric, You've made me sit here and count them!! On the Tiger there are 64 links on each side, however, the Challenger has 74. Obviously, different wheel arangements will call for more or less links. For a German WWII helmet, you can custom make somthing that works pretty well. I cut down a motorcycle helmet, and one of the flare-necked castle helmets. Carl, Brilliant work. I've made a fairly cool Panther tank (lotsa slopes), but need some tracks. Where did you get yours? Greg, Good job! Modeling mecha is never easy. I mean, it took Mother Nature (1) how many millions of years to get the human body to work the way it does. I also like using technic pegs for machine guns (or rail guns or laser cannons or ...), I first saw them being used by Jeremy Sproat and, I think, Pat Justison, come to think of it, even some of my friends at school were telling me about using them (...) I really like this hard-suit because it is similar to Ron and Randy's battle armour which was about the size of a mini-fig. Oh! This model was inspired by the anime movie: Big Wars. I think I'd describe Znap as a cross between Technic Lego and Construx (I'm not sure if Construx was ever available in Sweden). It's basically a node-and-beam building (...) You DEFFY SHOULD!!!! I,d love to see more military lego as its something Lego never themed so everything you see will be original...it also creates problems to overcome such as making guns and proper helmets/head gear etc,..I want to see other (...)
