OK, this is probably a separate dicussion, but it seems to me a bit of a waste to split up complete, older sets just for one part... Any opinions out there? I've liberally split up sets 3 and 4 years old, and even some 7 years old for BAYLIT - but I'm often reluctant to do so... I justify this in that I can get the older parts to a larger group who value them... -Jon

It depends on the RoI I'm likely to see in return, and whether or not it will deny me a complete set on some Faraway Future (...) Well, I'm the wrong one to ask - I've been buying old Fire sets from Ebay JUST for the rolling garage doors. But I'm building them too - I have a 6382/6389/6571 sitting around the house, as soon as I decide which to keep whole, the rest are getting (...)
