I recently acquired two NBA Collectors' sets. I like the minifigs, but the bases they stand on seem useless for building. Can anyone come up with a use for them? This amazing mech work was done by Keith Goldman. I had a chance to hang out and talk with him Saturday and Sunday. He's nice and pretty humble about the stuff he builds. Looks excellent Phil...that canopy really lends well to the chopper form. The detailing on this is particularily nice - the gearing around the heat exhaust, the classic space balloon tires and the clustered weapons package...all makes for a tight (...) This is too big to even comment on effectively. I could spend hours pouring ove the details of the deck and the functionality of the midship compartments alone (and probably will).
