Sadly, I lack a camera, or else I'd post some images somewhere of the first mecha that I actually *want* other people to see. Hello, I teach CAD at a Community College in California, and for the last few semesters I've incorporated LEGO (specifically, LEGO Technic) into my curriculum. My guess is approximately 2800 pieces. I just multiplied the piece count of an average sized section and multiplied it by the total number of rooms. Hope that's good enough. The Tundra Explorer is built in the grand tradition of LEGO ground vehicles. I don't know if this has already been discused or not, as I'm new here, but I think (think) I have a way to strengthen hip (and possibly other) joints created by ball joints.
