Well, it means they are running uncontested in those categories, that is IF
there are truly no other contestants for those categories -- I will likely
go over the category list very carefully later on tonight (I feel fairly
sure that many entries are not yet on the official page). So they just
cannot vote for themselves in those categories, they can certainly vote, and
have the responsibility to vote for other MOCs in EVERY other category just
as everyone else has to.
But anyway, others will vote for them so there is no problem there.
The intent of the rule is to keep the contest "genteel" -- less about true
competition and more about exhibition, although there are actual winners.
