  Minifig Voyager(ish) ship

Hey all, I thought it was about time somebody did a ST ship minifig scale. Right now I'm in the process of creating a Star Trek Voyager type starship, I decided to post a picture of progress so far so that I could gain some constructive criticism on (...) (...) Roger that, I was gawking at it on Brickshelf earlier today but didn't want to post about it till Jon did. (...) Trains ain't exactly a pushover, it's got a lot of good entries but I am SO GLAD not to be a castle judge! It would be an (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Launch of the ASC Inceptor Stormscape class Destroyer

Awesome site! I love the sound effects - do I recognize the Protoss observer in there somewhere? Anyway, I'm planning on taking a long look at everything, but for now, DeathSkull, Boosthopper, and Shark really caught my eye. Nice work! ~ Tom -- - - (...)   Re: My ISSC entry

(...) Na... this town ain't THAT civilised. Just think of it as a rather grey dirt... I would have used tan baseplates but I don't have enough, I would have had to raid my completed Skyline kits (each includes 2 16x32s) and I wasn't THAT crazy (and (...)   Re: My ISSC entry

(...) I have to totally agree, it is indeed amazing. Mark very kindly 'shopped in some sky on three of the images and sent them to me. These are not part of the entry of course since they're post deadline but they're pretty spiffy. (URL) thanks very (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

We're not worthy! Or at least I'm not. :-) Anyways, I have a question. For all your pics, did you have to manually mask out the background with photoshop or is the white background allready a perfect white? I have tried, but my white backgrounds (...)   Re: New MOC: Z-22 Mobile Defence Platform

(...) Hiya Bryce, Thanks for the praise! Yup, this mecha sure did end up looking sleeking. I'm glad; I hate it when areas end up looking dull. Judging from the replies, the cockpit ended up good. Great! School... ARGH! Yes, I gotta go back on (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) model. I'm partial to the cockpit. Also I noticed that the click hinges on the legs give it some texture (that took me a bit to figure out). I approve of the more minimalist look of this mecha. Makes it look sleak and functional. You really (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New transforming space ship

Pat, Anything that transforms is by definition much more difficult than building either a mecha or a spaceship. I really like the spaceship. On the mecha I agree with your critique. That said, what really astounds me is that (to my knowledge) you (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) It's funny you ask. If you go into the articles section there is one of photo tips. You'll find all the answers you need there. One correction though, the matte I refer to is called seamless. I don't know why I keep on calling it matte. . . . (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
