I finally had some time over the holidays to do a little building and picture
taking of some Lego models I've been working on.

Some time ago, I started work on an old-fashioned gas station.  Over the
holidays, I was able to complete it and take pics of it.  I also sent it in as
an entry to the 1st ISCC...not because it's a great model, but because I wanted
to take part in this coolest of contests.  Here's a link to the Old Fashioned
Gas Station on my webpage:

I also started and finished a new MOC over the holidays.  Right now, it's my
favorite...but I always like my newest best.  It's a movie theater with a lot
of details like movie posters, concessions, removable roof and hinged corner.
See it at:

And finally, I managed to take pics of a monorail I made a few months ago:

Or, if you want to see everything, just start at the main page:

Thanks for taking a look.  Comments are always appreciated :)

(...) ... Very, very cool. The gas station reminded me of the one distroyed in "Mad Mad Mad Mad World". I hope that all of your creations will grace the next NCLTC train show. Cary (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.town)

Phooey, you meanie, making me post outside of .Castle :) I loved the Gas Station and theater! The only thing I couldn't find in the theater was the potty, and that's a detail better left untouched ;) And yes, the movie posters are pretty sweet too! (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.town)

All your work is awesome. I really like the gas station. It reminds me of my home town. I can always remember the attendant pumping the glass tanks to the proper gallons mark by hand. What a shame that they ever put electric pumps on them. Your (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

(...) Thomas, Great stuff, thanks! I like the old gas station and the movie theater a lot. You have a great eye and imagination for the details that really add to the model. Thanks, George (23 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.town)
