Aha ... so it is the drive train that fails.  The drive train I used on my • model was
fairly compact and entirely contained in the crawlers.  The key part was a
worm gear meshing with a 40-tooth gear in a Throwbot (Slizer) gearbox.  This
combination allows large mechanical advantage in a small space.  Pictures and
