Hi, This huge piece of machinerie, worlds largest bucket wheel excavator "Bagger 288" has always fascinated me, and so does your model! What a great piece of work! To bad I wasn't able to join the meeting in Hattersheim to see this fantastic model for real. When the real Bagger 288 was back in the press recently, because it was moved to a new location, it reminded me that this thing would be a nice model to build for sure. And you have done an excellent job creating this "beast" out of LEGO bricks! Andreas aka "El Caracho"

Hi @ll, I build a Bucket Wheel Excavator as my entry for the 1st International System Creativity Contest at 1000steine.de (URL) maschine like this works in the brown caol district "Garzweiler" near Cologne and Duesseldorf in West Germany. It is 200 (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce, lugnet.trains, lugnet.technic) !!
