Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Felix Greco
I was going to wait a while and add more content to this page, but Joe Meno's new MOC got me excited.         Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Joe Meno
(...) Wow, cool! I spotted the graphics on B-shelf and was wondering what was going on... (...) There are a couple of things that come to mind: Chris Giddens came up with a really cool angle on the Attack Crab beuiing built with the assistance of (...)          Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Chris Giddens
(...) Felix! Cool Stuff! The Sea Monkeys rule! hey, no they don't... I must fight back against there schemes. (...) It's because I rock. "And Evil will always triumph, because good is dumb." hey wait... that's not right. FIGHT THE SEA MONKEYS! (...) (...) (21 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Felix Greco
(...) Still workin as BF2k3 as far away as that seems right now. But, if I have my way, Aqauzone and the Sea Monkeys will make a respectable showing this year. Felix BTW- I've tried to email you but am getting undeliverable mail messages for some (...) (21 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Felix Greco
(...) Yah, it'll be fun to come up with ideas about their alliance in future. The idea was thrown out for comic releif before. (...) I'm not sure about that. I guess I should give a low down on the thoughts I had on the SMs a little further down. (...) (21 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Joe Meno
(...) I can see a SM and his advisor, a Fleeb.... (...) Point taken, so Alpha Team still has a chance:) (...) I have a slightly lengthy drive to and from work, so my thinking happens then...and yep life IS too short! (...) No problem! (...) A town (...) (21 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Felix Greco
(...) I totally agree. If they were telepathic, its likely they would have a better understanding of the environment and somehow be at harmony with it. So, humans would be the ultimate invasive species (the biologist in me is coming out). With (...) (21 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Joe Meno
(...) Another difference I see is that humans don't adapt to the environment as much as adapt the environment to them. And that mastery of the environment is something that the SMs disdain...they live in a general harmony with the sea. (...) So (...) (21 years ago, 13-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Felix Greco
(...) True. This way, they're not just war-mongers, but on a worthy mission. (...) Interesting that you say that. One of the ideas I've been toying with lately is that SMs don't have to eat to obtain energy. I'm always dissapointed in sci-fi aliens (...) (21 years ago, 14-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Joe Meno
(...) Possibly a crusade. (...) A possible idea would be that the SMs could absorb materials from their skin or their tail. The tails are the largest part of their anatomy (and a real PAIN to build around:)) so it would make sense that they would (...) (21 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Felix Greco
(...) Which means we don't have to worry about "land gear" for the head. Though its logical to assume they shouldn't stay out of the water for too long. (...) Thats a good idea. How do we make preists then? We could make it one color (like white) or (...) (21 years ago, 16-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Joe Meno
(...) Agrred. Or else they would have invaded LONG ago:) (...) The priests could be defined by something as simple as a long robe..the longer, the more senior. Or maybe a body plate with a long robe. It would be neat to take advantage of the fact (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Felix Greco
(...) How would they clip on? It might seem bulky. I like the idea of the robe. Thats something we can play with. Next time I build (which may be a while) I wantto play around with suits of armor and such. (...) I LOVE the prawn. If I ever get a (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Joe Meno
(...) Seem bulky? No, it is bulky! So I dropped that idea. Robes on the other hand... (...) Sounds cool to me...I did a possible priest SM and will post it soon. There's some other things that I am percolating in my head:)...underwater stuff is a (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Announcing the Aquarium: the new Sea Monkey home. —Felix Greco
(...) I threw a robe on a SM last night and was very suprised at how sharp it looked. Very becoming. But, no need to make decisions at this time. Maybe we can come up with something cooler soon. (...) Cheers to that :) (...) I've been turning over (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone)

(...) Agreed, tho the one stud flap piece in the Studio and Extreme Stunt sets are pretty good for that. I'm going to fit a manta on my priest and see how it looks. (...)
