I think Lego is more upset that he is trying to make a profit with the film.
I saw nowhere that he said that Lego told him he could *not* make the film,
just that he could not put it out to make a profit out of it quote from the
other site: "If anyone on this forum is intending to make any profit from
any of their films, including selling them to paying online movie sites
FORGET IT!"). Maybe Lego was under the impression that he was doing this
just for fun, like most of us do with our films or MOCs - we do not try to
make a profit out of them, they are for us and for us to show off. I kinda
understand why Lego is mad, but I also think they need to relax, as long as
there is a disclaimer saying that it is not an official film etc,(like all
of us do on our lego sites) then I see no problem as to him doing whatever
he wants to with it.

| (...) Yeah, this is an important point. Note what the filmmaker says in his post: "The film was completed with the cooperation of the Lego corporation and they even provided some of the materials" They made the film with official Lego materials.
