  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) Gee. That's rather a cop-out, isn't it? (...) Yes, it does. (...) This is not about courtesy. At all. This is about a claim Brad made that it was _legally_ so. I am not saying it isn't impolite (though I don't agree..), I am saying it isn't (...) (25 years ago, 18-Dec-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: LUGNet Chat

(...) The game aspect is entirely optional, and is not needed or relevant for a Lego chat. I would suggest that a talker would be sufficent (no creatures or objects) as this would also be lighter on system resources. I guess private IRC is more (...)   Re: Carrying rec.toys.lego on lugnet.com

Dejanews doesn't work w/Outlook Express. Despite some peoples poor expreiences w/this software, I have had nothing but good come out of it. I had a news server that carried RTL but it went belly up after just after x-mass, don't know why but can't (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

LUGNET Links "Everything LEGO" page needs an update

For starters, I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Second, please don't bark if this has been brought up too many times already. The "Everything LEGO" page is a great resource but a rather dated one- dated as in not up to date. Now, I'm (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Help: Leading Spaces?

(...) When you say "intermittent," do you mean that it happens sometimes but not all the time? What do you mean by "leading spaces"? Do you mean lines that begin with space characters (i.e., ASCII #32) or do you mean whole blank lines? About how (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

  Re: Set List Export?

Even so, you can get your set list info into Excel fairly easily. It seems to be a little known fact, but Excel, at least the Excel 97 and Excel 2000 that I tried, can directly import table data from HTML pages. I tried it with my Lugnet set list (...)
