Jesse-
I'm going to throw in my 2 ¢ here to try and turn this negative thread into
a constructive one.
The reason Dan, Steve etc.. get frustrated with you is not because they want
to single you out; not because they dislike you or want you out of .space.
In my opinion much of this would be resolved if you would finally post some
images of your MOCs. I know this can be a big step for some people but with
even a very tight budget and limited resources anyone can get images on the
internet.
You could:
-use a disposable camera and get the images developed on a photoCD
-buy a very cheap digital camera
-check out http://www.ldraw.org and learn how to build your MOCs on your
computer.
(after you did one of these you could then setup a free gallery at
Brickshelf)
I feel this is at the core of many people's frustration with you because
almost all of your posts are very MOC-related. You very often (if even just
a bit) comment on other peoples creations and tell them how they should do
this or that, without ever showing your own MOCs.
*Certainly* anyone can get a large amount of respect on Lugnet while never
posting a single creation, but as I have said, your posts focus heavily on
MOC building. I really do think in this case that when you "Walk the Talk"
so to speak you'll find many of your posts are respected much more than they
are now.
Please don't reply with a huge list of reasons why you still can't post a
creation. I'm sure you might have a ton of reasons and it might seem like a
nightmare to get something online but I still feel that you'll be able to
pull it off. I personally want as many people as possible on Lugnet or in
.space.
Hope that helps and good luck!
-Jon
