Well, to be honest with you, I did leave out the part about my older brother
also having a claim on the collection and he is not as nice as me. He tends
to dislike huge vessels, which is why me building such a large one is like
pulling teeth. Also, getting a web camera and a scanner is not as easy as
most people would think.
I tend to think big and the term, at least to my house and my appetite for a
larger LEGO collection, is, "a champagne appetite on a beer budget." I
mean, I would like to build large and colorful vessels with the collection
that I have but a vessel looking like the teamwork between The Partridge
Family bus painters and Jawas simply will not do for me and I doubt that it
will do for you, thus the sense of failure that I have at building something
decent on LUGNET. Also, the expensiveness of a web camera and a scanner are
other reasons why I can not seem to put my money where my mouth is right
now; it is not the fact that I wish to do so, I can not do so right now,
Steve. I also need a vast upgrade on my computer, as I doubt that a 300 MHz
will contain enough memory to properly utilize a scanner and web camera. It
may work but it also may take gobs of free space and, consequentially, take
forever to run on my computer, which are more reasons why I can not fulfill
your request.
My grandmother has a much faster computer and a scanner, the problem is,
she, for some odd reason, either does not permit me to use the web camera
and scanner or is too busy or not there to help me use them (yes, I do not
know how to use a web camera or a scanner, there are people like that in
this world). Were I somehow able to overcome these problems, I might gain
the trust of everyone on LUGNET instead of seeming like I am an arrogant
fool who knows nothing about LEGO Space, which is certainly not true. I
hope that this thoroughly explains why I can not seem to put my money where
my mouth is and thank you for acting at least halfway human and letting me
speak my side now.
