(...) I used to look at recent posts to enjoy the gamut of LugNet. When in-fighting occured, the "Noise-to-MOC" ratio was 10:1 as everybody angrily came out of the woodwork. (...) Yes, hopefully I can post ideas that won't be taken that way. At (...) (20 years ago, 18-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: The Brick Testament - More Teachings of Jesus

Hey Brendan, Dang you! Every time you post a new installment it makes me feel horrid over my own long-neglected projects. On Peace - Great implementation of the Lowell Sphere! On Family - How did you get Jesus' arms out like that? Did you cheat with (...) (20 years ago, 15-Oct-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Trouble with IE, PNG and BS

Hi, Sorry for this somewhat off-topic subject which I'm not sure where to post - I've FUT to off-topic.geek. I've recently uploaded PNG file format pictures (Photoshop generated) to BS for the first time (I was used with JPGs). The upload has worked (...) (20 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)

(...) Wise words, Tim. Even if it's a simply "nice MOC" or "me too" post, it can certainly be encouraging.   Re: Yo ho ho, a pirate's life for me!

Great work I really like these! The fence mounted horizontally as a ledge is also a great touch. I have long been a fan of the adventurer stomach torso for a pirate, but Aunt May's is really clever.... The backgrounds are also brilliant. I posted a (...)   The inevitable leap into 10-Wide Trains...

Having been building at to a scale of 1 stud (1 brick width) = 1 foot for (approx 1:35 scale) the better part of the last 2 decades, I decided it was past time to upgrade my trains to the same scale. (...) Hey, Dano! Long time. Ah, 10 wide. Reminds me of the very first loco I started to build with GMLTC bricks (never completed). It was a 10 wide BN as well. Well, yours looks terrific-- just keep those smallish wheels shielded. Now, another (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

United Air Lines DC-3 with working props and landing gear
