Didier - please do NOT set a FUT to off-topic.geek unless someone
specifically asks you to - it screws me up when I post something to a
newsgroup as I usually expect the reply to go to the group I originally
found it in. If you push FUT to off-topic.geek, I might ask where my post
went to because I don't see it showing up where I originally posted, and I
expect that to happen, not to find out it went to another newsgroup.
Here is the rest of my post that apparently made it to off-topic.geek,
unedited except for the above paragraph.

Even more weirdness here, the first time I clicked on the link below, all
was fine as IE opened it up with QuickTime.

And then when I clicked here, the thumbnails are all fine, yet when I click
a pic, the pic inserted into the frame turns black!

When clicking this one directly, IE loads it using the QuickTime plugin, and
loads it correctly.
I'm not sure what that means, but it is certainly weird! Do you have
QuickTime installed on your machine?
Cheers ...

| Hi, Sorry for this somewhat off-topic subject which I'm not sure where to post - I've FUT to off-topic.geek. I've recently uploaded PNG file format pictures (Photoshop generated) to BS for the first time (I was used with JPGs). The upload has worked (...) (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.general)
