Re: 10020 limited to 10000 sets or not?

(...) Then I must be mistaken. My apologies. It was my understanding that at least one of the original thoughts behind LEGO Direct was that it would provide sets directly to consumers, in much they way you can effectively 'shop' on eBay. As well, I (...) (23 years ago, 22-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: anyone got a report of the new sets shown off at brickswest? <Next Legend?>

(...) That's precisely why they don't want to do it. They don't want to dilute the brand by having too many choices for the same audience. They don't want to hurt LEGO retail figures by having LEGO Direct offer products that directly compete with (...) (23 years ago, 21-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space)

  Re: Lego Trainposter preview

(...) Dear Jeroen, I'm one of the big 12V era fans and so I really love to see your poster! Looks a little like Matts Train Depot mini-images in king size. ;-)) When you have finished the poster, I will surly try to check out, how to bring it on (...) (...) In fact there are so many new galleries that the response from the fan community sometimes seems a bit lame (this includes me too). But I want say it once again: I really enjoy every new gallery! Now that we have so much pictures I often have (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Legends in stores?

(...) So-- If I may ask, how are Legends doing as a product line? Are we likely to see "legends" in stores? Are the Wild West & Pirate sets currently in stores considered "legends"? I guess why I ask is that I'd much prefer them in stores. I hate to (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

(...) That is right Dan, the set includes a (very primitive) instruction, how to do a conversion to 9V train stuff. If you have no experience with Lego-trains, you might take a look at the instruction of set 2126 to to get to know how you have to (...) (23 years ago, 21-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains)

Anyone for a Celebration of Classic Space at Brickfest?

Hiya, there's a good chance I'll get to attend my first fest this summer (yay). I dunno what has really been done towards pumping up space at the fests or if special rooms have existed for it... So how about this, a room dedicated to Space, Classic (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space)

Personally, I want to see either Cosmic Fleet Voyager, 918 Space Transport or a good old Message Intercept Base as Space legends. Or even (...)   Re: New Suggestion for Lego Legends

(...) Right on! I got 1 Black Knight, but I traded the armor to Matt Hein. (Hey, whatdya know...) It is an awesome set, wish I could get more. A three pack with that and and some other 'knight on horse' sets would be better than the joust. Not like (...) (23 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.castle)

  New Suggestion for Lego Legends

Hey, I dont know about anyone else, but you know what an awesome set was? Black Knight!!! European armor, cool visorey helm, ... The list goes on and on. (...) I'd like to see a 6985 Cosmic Fleet Voyager, or a Message Intercepter Base or even the original 918 become a Space Legend! Why does Lego even continue to bother with those new SW sets? In my opinion, I think SW is getting kind of old. Most of (...) (23 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.starwars)
