Re: News search function temporarily disabled

(...) I think it's more of a problem of having to have the page in memory (all 300k of it) while a slow client downloads it. Nothing much to do about that except make the page smaller - perhaps move all the FONT FACE entries to an all encompassing (...) (24 years ago, 18-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

I did a bit of Lego-touring yesterday. Here's what I saw, everything is from memory, so double-check with the store, if it's important to you. Indooroopilly Shoppingtown: Target: some new Life On Mars sets, mostly smaller ones no new Star Wars usual (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Printing problems in MLCAD

I just found something about this - if the printer driver run's out of memory - MLCad doesn't get notified or at least ignores the errors - resulting in either blank pages (totaly blank) or also getting pages with just some rubish on it ... I will (...) (24 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

And if he had friends with good memories, he could then show them how (...) (24 years ago, 24-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Scout Rcx programming?

(...) Yes, you can use NQC to program the Scout. You don't have a lot of memory but it works great. You can even program the Micro-Scouts using the Scout and NQC.   Re: Solar power

(...) Powering the RCX with the solar cell is a little impractical. Keeping the firmware in the memory is a real challenge. I have found it useful using two panels and the capacitors for making some motor driven projects. The panels are designed for (...) (23 years ago, 5-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) It is. The new Slave I is at the $50 price point, if memory serves; the old one was at the $20 price point. So more detail and more pieces are to be expected. It's a lot bigger, too. :) best LFB (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Thomas--if you've got it in immediate memory, there are two items that've defying my search: The new Jack Stone container (part # stamped on the 4x4x4 container piece is 30639) and the "doors" that connect via a click hinge (numbered 30625).   Re: LDGLite Linux install question

(...) Well, a segmentation error is when the program tries to access some memory that it doesn't own, so it's usually a bad pointer. How did you run the program? From a shell window? If so, what kind of shell was it? Probably bash, but you never (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Hi John, (...) Yes ! Using more tasks you will get more local space (for each task 16). So maximum number of variables is 32+(16*10) = 192 (...)
