I did a bit of Lego-touring yesterday. Here's what I saw, everything is from
memory, so double-check with the store, if it's important to you.

Indooroopilly Shoppingtown:

    Target:
some new Life On Mars sets, mostly smaller ones
        no new Star Wars
usual selection of Duplo, Action Wheelers, Slizers, etc

    Kmart:
nothing new here, very small selection, not restocked since Xmas?
        Slave 1's selling for $21

    Myer:
        new Life On Mars sets
new Star Wars System sets: Imperial Shuttle (now sold out),
Wattos Junkyard, Droid Carrier, Droid Escape
        Lego Studio
lots of the new Race sets
        general selection of other stuff

City:

    Myer Queen Street:
*very* well stocked with just about everything, I think
new Life on Mars sets (not sure if all were there)
all new Star Wars System (lots of Imperial Shuttles here)
all new Star Wars Technic mechas - C3PO and Imperial Stormtrooper
Ultimate Collector X-Wing and Tie Interceptor, Millenium Falcon
RIS 1.5, and some other robotics
        Lego Studio
Star Wars System X-Wing [wasn't someone wanting this recently?]

    Toyworld Myer Centre:
Fairly small selection, nothing interesting, nothing new
the Lego rep reckoned this store will be closing soon

    Toyworld Queen Street:
Larger selection than Toyworld Myer Centre, but still nothing new
        Witch's Magic Manor at $40 (1 left)

    David Jones:
Smaller area than they had pre-Christmas, nothing new
"Discount" bin had a Slave 1 with a damaged box for a mere $42!
I think everything on "discount" can be bought cheaper elsewhere!

At quite a few stores, I saw those Adventure value packs (jungle chief with
the big headdress and a spider and a shrine, and the female adventurer with
the gold disc hidden in the spider-and-snake-infested shrine) for $6 (I
think).

Anyone know what's happening with TRU in Brisbane?

Kerry

Another oops. Target at Indooroopilly definitely had 20% off the whole Lego range. Unfortunately, their range didn't include anything I wanted to buy :-( Kerry (23 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
