| | Re: Macro-Evolution - Impossible!
| On the subject of Macro evolution: I present the following excerpt (again from (URL) understand, when I talk about evolution I am not referring to simple variations that occur in any species. Dogs produce a variety of puppies, but never will dogs (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

| | Re: Elimating the need for the IR tower
| (...) I don't think so. Common wisdom was that it is impossible, until recently. Then someone mentioned that a common spec for PCs (PC97) requires IR chips to support a mode called Consumer Electronics IR (CEIR) that could talk to an RCX. See for (...) | | Re: eBay LEGO sales just amaze me.

Current "Western" ([American, Western European, Canadian, Australian) as a functional (as opposed to formal) culture and economic region]) society may have it's own particular flavor, it's own particular "style" of marriage, but I think that (...) | | Re: Info on HP48 calculator and RCX working together?
| (...) Getting the HP to talk to the RCX is possible, although it requires a lot of assembler programming on the HP. I was playing with it for a while, but never managed to stabilize it--crashed my HP I don't know how many times. If somebody wants to (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)
