Hi All The talrik bot running of a HB is doing serverly wierd things. I'vew tested these servo's on a old RC Reciver and they work fine , and my handy board can drive other servo s fine(not hacked thoe) Problem is when I give servo_a7_init(1); the (...) It would be cheaper to buy it in kit form. If you try to collect the parts it may wind up more expesive due to shipping...depending on how n\many places you gotta go to...and also, availability, hunting the parts down, etc. This method is the worst. Woaw ! This could be great to have a full featured rcx expansion board... It should however be not too expensive, and in my opinion very basic to allow anything to be made. After I posted my DAT file a couple of hours ago, I opened the file and only saw the basic parts of my model displayed, not the slopes, etc. I have never encountered this problem when viewing other people files. Jim, I agree that the Mac version of the software is better than the Mindstorms software, but I do have to commend Connectix Corp. for making this change in their software. I noticed today that people are paying around $150 - $200 for new 8880 (and 5571) sets in eBay auctions when they could be buying them from DYA shopping directly and saving (in some cases) a ridiculous amount of money. We've opened 20+ copies of the same sets, and we get any mix of the three bags: 1) Perforated, so the kiddies can't choke 2) Unperforated with the big CHOKING HAZARD label, so the parents can't sue 3) Unperforated with no warning, I assume so TLG (...) (25 years ago, 4-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
