I am not surprised, back in May when Star Wars lego mania first hit I posted
the following
"I am not going to panic into buying them
I like lego, I like Star wars, but I will be very surprised if within a
year, not only can I buy lots of Star Wars legos anywhere, but I will also
be able to buy them at a discount once the novelty has worn off.
It was the same with the Star wars models that came out with the rerelease
of the original Star Wars movies. Everyone wanted them. Now they are half
price in lots of toy shops."
as part of longer post in rec.toys.lego
There is lots of lego stars wars on the shelves and I dont see them moving
very fast. Now the hype is dying down you can bet retailers will be looking to
shift them.
