Hi, Pictures and movie here: (URL) is my latest (and most successful) attempt at building such a thing. This particular model runs on Gauge 1 track but could be regauged to run on Lego track by switching to an outside frame structure. It uses 8 (...) If the program isn't capable of using primitives, any generated parts are bound to get "Hold - use more primitives" votes/comments when/if they are submitted to the Parts Tracker. So, without support for primitives, which MLCad and other editing (...) (19 years ago, 3-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

I had in the past tried my hand (somewhat unsuccessfully) at creating some new LDraw parts. I found the tutorials on ldraw.org to be helpful, but I was surprised at how "manual" the process seems to be. (Edit the file in Notepad? Seriously??) Being (...) Any chance someone can capture some of the footage from the trains and put it up on You Tube? And you can let the Museum people know that my family and I will make it a point to come and visit (and we live on the West Coast!) They might have a (...) Bonjour! Nice work on the landing module. I really like the functional landing gear. Had a look around your BS folder and your CN engine caught my eye. Always love a well-done Canadian MOC. Hi Erik, while I appreciate the creativeness of that idea, I can't help but wonder why you wouldn't just start with "ribbed" columns (i.e. making the entire column cross-shaped to give the ribbed impression you find with a lot of buildings of that (...)
