That is true, but I think this is more about the fact that the standard
train
transformer is not available from S@H (at least not to Australia), so
anyone
reading the Battery information and not knowing what the standard train
transformer is would be a little confused when they try to purchase one
from
S@H.

Sure, I'm just trying to be helpful.

Thanks, Jurgen!  But indeed I had noticed there isn't a power pack available
from S@H site for Australia!

When I bought my battery packs in Oberhausen I didn't know
whether I could use the train transformer, and neither did
the shop staff (they didn't have the transformer in stock).
Later at home I found out it was indeed the correct one,
from comparing the specs.

Interesting to note, so if anyone has it as an accessory listed on BrickLink
(and if it's the right voltage for my country) I can get it that way
perhaps.

Doesn't help you much in Australia I guess,
unless you also already got one ...

Well, I don't have a 9V train transformer, so it doesn't help anyway!  But
again, many thanks for letting us know about it anyway!  I sure appreciate
knowing info I didn't know before, so please don't feel bad about it either!
;-)

Since it's the Holiday season, Season's Greetings to one and all!

Cheers ...

Geoffrey Hyde
