Hello@all,

I didn't found something about #10022 and #10025 in the LUGNET, so I think
this is interesting for train fans:

http://www.b-o-a.de/01.jpg

There will be two new sets for the Santa Fe Train available in September:

#10022; 411 pieces; $34.99: For building a Dining Car, Observation Car _OR_
Sleeping Car

#10025; 326 pieces; $34.99: For building a Mail Car _OR_ a Baggage Car

So you need 3x #10022 and 2x #10025 to build all cars.

This information comes from a catalog called "Shop at Home Trains - Your
Official LEGO Train Catalog" with 16 pages written in English and Francais
(no German, but I had it in my recently bought Santa Fe box!). Also shown
are the Fokker, Sopwith and the USS Constellation. I don't want to scan the
whole catalog, because I think it will be available in new sets soon.

I like these, and I like the idea of having optional builds with each set.
Rumours were that we'd see a B-kit before anything else, but these are a
nice surprise.

I do wonder about the mass appeal of these though - clearly they're aimed at
people who have a Super Chief, so I hope Lego Direct aren't launching at too
small a market.

Am I the only one who suspects that the labelling on these images is out of
order though?  Why would a mail car have all windows?  And a dining car may
be partly enclosed for a kitchen, but such tiny windows?  This may be
typical of a buffet car, but aren't long-haul dining cars usually all big
windows with a separate kitchen car behind?  I suspect that these two are
the wrong way round.

I had just come to the same conclusion regarding the mis-labelled images for
the Dining Car and Mail Car - comparing to the images at the well-referenced
"Fallen Flags" page -
http://www.midwestnpioneer.org/timetable/fallenflags/superchief.html
It would be strange too if one of the alternative models needs no doors and
the other (at least) four.
