Re: LDraw.org 2008-01 Parts Library Update now available —Elroy Davis
(...) I ran into the same issue. Running the .exe in Administrator mode (right click on the icon, choose Run As Administrator) took care of the problem.           Re: LDraw.org 2008-01 Parts Library Update now available —Roland Melkert
(...) Thanks for the tip, but it still won't run. I think it's a 64 bit issue incombination with native msdos applications. Because eg L3P, whom is a win32 console application, runs fine. Roland (16 years ago, 11-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2008-01 Parts Library Update now available —Gabriele Biffi
(...) Yes, for 64bit editions of Windows, Microsoft completely removed support for 16bit DOS and Windows 3.x software.      (...) I'm also interested in a list to see before i deside if i install the Non CA parts or not. I guess a list with a small picture on LDRAW.ORG could be possible?         Re: LDraw.org 2008-01 Parts Library Update now available —Timothy Gould
(...) First I'd like to say how pleased I am that the bulk of the parts are under the new license. It's been a long process but I think the legal flexibility offered should really help LDraw. I was hoping Chris would let someone else post this (...) (16 years ago, 10-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2008-01 Parts Library Update now available —Sergio Reano

Re: LDraw.org 2008-01 Parts Library Update now available —Travis Cobbs
(...) That has always happened in the past, and will presumably happen with the next update. The parts tracker "unofficial parts library" only contains new (unreleased) files and that have been modified since the last update. This update was (...) (16 years ago, 18-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

(...) And they may come back on Tracker as a new version when an author improves an already certified part. So often you have to deal with two version of the same part, one official and one (improved) on PT. Philo (16 years ago, 18-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2008-01 Parts Library Update now available —Chris Dee
(...) The suggestion that fixes to already released official parts should not be in the unofficial library download ((URL)) seems reasonable at first reading, but we need to consider the wider implications. For example, consider the following (...) (16 years ago, 18-Sep-08, to lugnet.cad)
