Nice model James. VERY However I would say, why compress it? Try it with the
power unit able to carry 2 containers... (although actually, if you use the
standard 4x8 container, I suspect it WILL carry two..) So what I mean is 2 of
your larger containers...
4 wide containers are a thorn in the side of 6 wide designs... containers
really should have been 6 wide too (there is ONE example of TLC 6 wide
containers out there, an older MAERSK set, I believe, but it's swamped with
these 4 wides we have now.. sigh)
1 - who else can I tease into making something neat?? :-)

| Containers are not as wide as trains! Sure, they are close, but with trains being 10' wide, represented as 6 studs, then an 8' wide container should be 4.8 studs wide. If you round it to the nearest stud, then it would be 5 wide by 12long for an HCL (...) (24 years ago, 28-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

| This is a version 1 design study for the German DB Cargo Sprinter container train set. Very compressed compared to its real-life counterpart, it looks a bit odd in relation. But, I think it imparts some familiarity. I have tried to use a minimum of (...) (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)
