Are the AFOL designers credited? It would be neat to know what designed
what.

I dont know if they are credited anywhere in the set, but there are profiles
for a few of the designers here: http://factory.lego.com/trains/fanfiles/

That website is a nice start from LEGO to support the 9V trains, but it seems to
take ages for things to happen there. Theyve linked James Mathis train
models, but what about the other designers theyve profiled?
Hopefully the 10183 models will be showing up here sometime - but presumably
after the set goes on sale. Maybe thats why some of James are there - he
dared to stand out and use some blue bricks!
And they need to filter the search by Cool Creations and Trains at the same
time. When you click on the link for other peoples train models, you just get
a load of junk where people have uploaded a few bricks or a track loop theyve
been playing around with. There are a few good ones in amongst the dross, but
its hardly selling the line for them.
