I don’t know if they are credited anywhere in the set, but there are profiles for a few of the designers here: http://factory.lego.com/trains/fanfiles/

That website is a nice start from LEGO to support the 9V trains, but it seems to take ages for things to happen there. They’ve linked James Mathis’ train models, but what about the other designers they’ve profiled?

Hopefully the 10183 models will be showing up here sometime - but presumably after the set goes on sale. Maybe that’s why some of James’ are there - he dared to stand out and use some blue bricks!

And they need to filter the search by ‘Cool Creations’ and ‘Trains’ at the same time. When you click on the link for other people’s train models, you just get a load of junk where people have uploaded a few bricks or a track loop they’ve been playing around with. There are a few good ones in amongst the dross, but it’s hardly selling the line for them.
