Lastly, building a 7-wide plate arrangement is no big deal but how do you get the hole centered for the bogies to attach? Is there a plate with holes I’m not thinking of or do you have to use Technic lift-arms (or whatever they call them)?

I used a “propeller 4 blade 5diameter” and a matching “tile 2x2 with Pin” on a 7 wide tender, to pivot the motor. As used in my Q1

I also came up with a design that used 1x3 technic lift arms, mounted horizontally but I can’t find the LDraw I did.

Hope this helps,

Mark
