I've got no idea to be honest. I assume we'd have to leave a gap but I meant
more about working around the 4x10x3 battery box in the middle rather than the
sensor (bad explanation I know).

| (...) Oh, right. Second read I realized what you meant. Here is a crude 7-wide shell built on a 6x28 train baseplate. It uses the 1x2 Technic bricks with 2-holes, the Technic Axle with stud at one end, and Technic Bushings to locate the SNOT 2x2 (...) (18 years ago, 29-Jun-06, to lugnet.trains)
