(...) Glad those instructions could be of help. I think James had more of a hand in that particular snotwork than I did though. (...) Good to hear. (...) Even better to hear. Tim (19 years ago, 8-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: The Polar Express

(...) Dear Anthony, I think this is one of the most spectaculiar MOCs I have seen here for quite a while! I love especially the interieur done on the cars. Leg Godt! Ben (19 years ago, 8-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: The Polar Express

(...) Well I certainly hope I haven't stopped you from going forward with your MOC. It was an exceptionally fun build, and a great learning experience. I plan on including many of the characters in the movie, including the hobo. However, I think for (...) (19 years ago, 8-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

In fact, it was your instructions on the mod to the Santa Fe Observation Car that gave me the means to attach via SNOT the red light atop my own observation car. So... thanks for the (...)   Re: 9V Train Motor Being Discontinued?

(...) Hi Gary, I'd really encourage you guys to voice this information to ILTCO, or at (URL) - if TLC don't hear it, they can't take it into account when making their decision. And it appears their deadline is not far off. ROSCO (19 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: rebeco

(...) right! i forgot to say one thing in my previous post. There is another factor: 4) The yellow lever in the switch can be in to positions - it can have the handle to one side or to the other side... daniel (19 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: rebeco

(...) Having thought about it a bit more I think I understand how it works. The locomotive makes use of the fact that Lego points are sprung and allow travel from the 'wrong road' in a trailing direction. Jason has in fact posted a bit about his (...)   Re: 9v Update (ILTCO's involvment)

(...) I agree. If ILTCO is going to be the channel we want it to be, this information should have been posted there as well as here. Maybe even an article there and just a link to the article here. ROSCO (19 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 9v Update (ILTCO's involvment)

I hear some of you saying that there are certain expectations of ILTCO that aren't being met. I also assume that you might be picking up on my frustration but it isn't pointed at any one person. So let me try to explain how I see ILTCO helping the (...) (19 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: rebeco

  Re: Coal Car

(...) More-or-less. It's not quite centered, but it's not off enough to really be noticeable. I would esitmate that it's about 1/10th of a stud. Pitsco has the plates with rails, but I've found Bricklink to be cheaper. -Duane (19 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: rebeco

I have to say I really like the ideas in this.
