Last weekend, we participated in the train event of the COSI in Toledo, OH, together with MichLTC, and 2 other non-Lego clubs. It was a good show, and it was great to talk to the MichLTC crowd. I was at the Lego Outlet at Potomac Mills over the weekend. They had train track in stock. Some of the stock had updated packaging with the "World City" logo on it. This looks very good, bit heavy on the 3X2 plates with hole maybe tho! It gives the effect of being one unit while bending which is what you were intending. Although its not entirey visually symmetrical it doesn't matter, most bogies (trucks) (...) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains)

I want to build a SD70m in 7 wide but wanted to figure out how to do the 3 axles first. Here's what I came up with. It will cross switches and cross overs in forward and reverse and at varying speeds. It also matches the detail of the decorative (...) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains)

I'm hooked on 7 wide. I thought I would try a passenger car in the VIA rail colors. Its a little big... 56 studs in total. It still handles a 180 turn but it hangs over the inside of the track. I used SNOT'd 1x4x5 windows for the majority of the (...) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains)

I just compared a switch track that that I just recieved from S@H (happy birthday to me) to an old switch track that I have had for a few years. Here's a preview of the Monorail Station I've been working on for the January GATS. The design is based on the beautiful model displayed at 1000steine-Land 2003 with some modifications and a color scheme change. (I don't read German so I'm not sure (...)
