Having had much fun at the COSI Toledo Train show, where COLTC and MichLTC has a
layout (show report(s) will follow at one point), this morning at breakfast I
got reminded by a funny thing that happened Sunday at breakfast. Since some of
us drove a long way to do the show, we stayed in a hotel. During breakfast (in a
freezing cold room on the 19th floor), Jason and Larry from michLTC, and Joe and
his family and myself started talking about train containers (hence my posting
here). Our tables were about 10 feet apart, so the conversation was rather
audible. At one point I suggested that it may be possible to build SNOT
containers. After discussing for a bit about color, size, and decoration with
stickers (all the time repeating the word SNOT container), we noticed the odd
looks from the other guests. Maybe in public we should call is Es-En-O-Tee,
rather than SNOT. Once we realized why the odd looks, we  proceeded to use other
jargon, like BURPS....

Paul

ps. Jason was eating runny overeasy/sunny side up eggs at the time of
conversation about SNOT
