  Re: Five more vehicles

(...) I took a look at the Element and I sure enough agree... I just realised too that I called the parts 'window arches'... I guess that shows what I think they're for ;) --snip-- (...) Tim (17 years ago, 15-Jun-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Five more vehicles

(...) I agree in general -- esp. w/r/t the official 4-wide cars -- but not with respect to Pierre's Element. The real thing has fairly pronounced circular wheel arches, and the arch piece more closely ties the model to the (not exactly handsome (...) (17 years ago, 15-Jun-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Five more vehicles

(...) Hi Pierre, Nice work as usual. I do have a couple of crits which I wouldn't bother making if I didn't like your stuff so much :) I'm not very keen on the use of the new window arches on the four-wide cars. I think your similar earlier designs (...) (17 years ago, 15-Jun-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Set #10190 Market Street pictures

(...) Just saw that this set is now available on U.S. S@H for $89.99. :-) Looks like I'll be placing a Lego order in the next few days. -Dave (17 years ago, 12-Jun-07, to lugnet.town)

Re: "Modular Buildings" category on LEGO Factory.

(...) Well, yeah:-) - actually these have been in hiding the past couple of weeks in the Factory (...) Hey! That wasn't my idea!! The idea is for others to make modules. (...) The updated pallete is only a week old, so there isn't much. I was able (...) (17 years ago, 12-Jun-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Market street in online store but unavailable in USA?

(...) If it is going to be available in the USA, which I assume it is, it is probably on a ship enroute now or being loaded onto a ship. Hopefully along with some cement mixers. Jonathan (17 years ago, 12-Jun-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: "Modular Buildings" category on LEGO Factory.

(...) While we're on the subject of LEGO Factory, I've been encountering a website bug as of lately - When I click on a Factory model's "Check Price" button, I get a "Page not Found" error page instead of a model pricing page. Has anyone else (...) (17 years ago, 12-Jun-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.cad.ldd, FTX)

"Modular Buildings" category on LEGO Factory.

It looks to me like Joe Meno has been busy: (URL) Not satisfied, with 'Cool Creations', he's got himself a whole new Factory category too: (URL) I'm not sure about the modularity of some of the other buildings in there, but they do look good.   Cable-stayed Bridge Model Update

I have posted my MOC of a cable-stayed bridge model before, but now I have the video of the assembly. The movie shows my seven hours of work compressed down into two-and-a-half minutes. The quality could have been better, but I didn't have control (...) (17 years ago, 12-Jun-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Griswold Building - Detroit, Michigan

(...) Thanks! While this building is not exactly small at three feet high, I did think that the Lego Detroit skyline would look a bit funny with no medium sized buildings to transition between the skycrapers and the two and three story buildings.   Re: Griswold Building - Detroit, Michigan

Re: Griswold Building - Detroit, Michigan

(...) Just stunning. Great details and excellent use of colors, both old and new. Another thing I really like about this is that it is not a huge skyscraper. It is the type of building, in my view, that will be on a layout but not necessarily be the (...) (17 years ago, 11-Jun-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)
