  fire stations

I posted a article a couple days ago about finally being fire hall complete...that is having all the major fire halls Lego has put out in the last 20 years. I was unhappy that I didn't get any response.... positive or negative... hopefully by (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: fire stations

(...) Do you have them all assembled? It would be neat to see pictures of a little town with nothing but fire halls. How many were there? I have never owned a fire hall. I did have that awesome 1994 firetruck with the extending ladder. Oh, and the (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: fire stations

(...) I will never be fire station complete because I flat out refuse to purchase any of the newer LEGO fire sets. Since I came out of my Dark Ages, I've bought multiple copies of every fire set, including the first Town Jr fire station, but I'm no (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

Good response Scott.... I wouldn't consider (...) juniorized (IMO)....however you slightly missed one set (URL) Super Rescue Center another juniorized set, but has a pretty nice fire truck with it, a really crappy fire station, but a good starter (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

Ben, Dope! I thought I wrote them down correctly, let's see if I can get it now. Should have known better to respond so late to something. Oh well, wait a second, I know what I did, I did not list sets individually. All right, let's try it now: (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: fire stations

OK, Time for my 0.02 worth. I agree with Jeff and Will both. For the longest time, when the 6554 was introduced, I refused to get it because of the Town Jr situation. I guess the 6571 set spoiled me (I now own 11 copies) I ended up buying one (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: fire stations; continuation of Lego Town

I guess that's the real messed up about the whole situation. I think I agree with you that Juniorization should be stopped, and that no one should buy these sets, and I think Lego knows the general position of AFOL's, and that is why they stopped (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: fire stations

I think he means he bought the Blaze Brigade for $10. I bought one for $30 - it was MISB from E-bay last year, and another one six months ago that had been missing pieces for $15. $10 isn't bad, but it is typical for sets like this. Not too bad for (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

(...) So would I. I spent less then $200 on LEGO last year, and most of that was for BrickWars items. Since I came out of my Dark Ages 12 years ago, this is an all time low spending record. On the plus side, I've had extra money to spend on other (...) (24 years ago, 18-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

Re: fire stations; continuation of Lego Town
