  Re: Heddal Stavechurch

(...) Hi Matija, Thanks for the reply and info. The reason i chose for tan is that i thought it would be easier to find the pieces in large quantities. There are between 1300 and 1500 tan bricks 1x4 log used. Also, if you take a look around the (...) (17 years ago, 5-Oct-07, to lugnet.town)

(...) Well, I certainly do! :) Some natives commented that it should have been brown ;) but nice anyway. And they also commented that you should definitely bring it to LEGO World in Oslo in May'08! (drop me a mail for details if you might be (...) (17 years ago, 5-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Heddal Stavechurch

(...) Nicely done, Ludo! It's a very clean build, with nice lines. I was just in the actual Heddal stave church about a month ago, when I visited Norway. What an amazing place! Regards, Robin Sather (URL) <www.brickville.ca> (17 years ago, 4-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: A much needed corner building

(...) Thanks, Brother. When my train motors wear out, maybe you and Ross can come over and help me push the trains along the track by hand. They're only 6 wide so we should be able to push for a long time before we wear out. They're lighter than 8 (...) (17 years ago, 2-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: A much needed corner building

(...) Thanks, Jim. I actually considered doing that effect for the entire facade - even the non-curved areas, but my wallet won out. My rent is going up faster than my salary. I had exactly enough 1x1 rounds in dark orange to do the curve so I kept (...) (17 years ago, 2-Oct-07, to lugnet.town)

(...) I like the technique you used for the rounded corner, too. Very cool. Jim (17 years ago, 2-Oct-07, to lugnet.town)

  A much needed corner building

Hello, I had a vacant lot on a rather prominent area of my layout for way to long and finally got the inspiration to fill it last week. (URL) am pleased with the way the building came out. It is inspired by a few buildings I have seen over the past (...) (17 years ago, 2-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains) !

5th Great Western LEGO Train Show, Swindon, UK - 6/7 Oct

The Brickish Association will be displaying at STEAM, the Museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon, UK on Saturday/Sunday 6/7 October 2007. The event title is now a little misleading as it's much more than a train show! We will have two (...) (17 years ago, 29-Sep-07, to lugnet.events, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: My layout

Love this planner! I have often thought it would be a good tool to "see" what is being built. I had one small nit to pick about an otherwise totally gorgeous layout: Are the sidewalks raised up at all? I cannot see any sort of curb. (17 years ago, 27-Sep-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: My layout

(...) Well I am no master builder like the other commenters--in fact I hardly build anything at all. But I have seen literally thousands of creations, so consider myself a pretty good judge. This is an absolutely first rate layout. Nicely conceived (...) (17 years ago, 27-Sep-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)
