We're not alone in this universe. Eh. :)

As a programmer by trade, I find building to be quite exciting and relaxing
(and challenging)... all of which are good.  However, I am used to being
able to accomplish the goal at hand... some goals are harder than others, of
course.

I'm a think first, act later person. Meaning I think out a solution
and go for it. If it fails at first I give it another go until it
works. If it later turns out not to work... Well...

So, I apply patience where I can, and sometimes have to spend some time away
from my Lego  8-)   Recently, I felt the need to break away a bit, so I
printed some of the kernel for legOS to see if there was anything I could
add/modify.  It is good to have something else to go to when your current
project is not going well/easy.

Ah, good to se another person who prefers reading code on paper.
Although I'm no programmer :)

I did recently finish a project, and it felt good.  At the same time,
looking back, there are a few things I wish I had taken pictures of.  Even
though they were not complete, they where (IMO) interesting none the less.

Since I got my digital camera I prefer taking a couple of extra
shots...

(the good far out-weighs the frustration)

Oh yes, the sweet feeling when one conquers the challenges at hand is
well worth it.

Though my beloved g/f has learned not to appear and make me loose
focus when things don't work as planned :) She's too sweet!
