I kind of like problem solving but if my solution proves not to work
in a later stage in building I get very disappointed and wont solve
the problem. Recent experience in this is my in progress MOC (IPMOC?)
where the final weight rendered my high speed gear almost useless
while it worked fine at the time I made it.
I might fix this and I've even thought out a few possible work arounds
as well. But it's almost a complete tear down/rebuild to get into the
gearbox since that's the very foundation of the whole MOC and might
hurt the dimensions leading to a total rebuild etc. etc.
Having multiple IPMOC's helps a great deal here, I can focus on
something else while bidding my time to deal with the problem at hand.
Then if I could only learn not to build so big that lack of pieces
become a problem... Or master my economy so that I can get more bricks
:) But than again, that would probably only make the MOC's even bigger
:)

Aaahhh, that's a fine moment and sometimes the eager to get there
makes the MOC worse then it should be (read: Hercules)...

| (...) I can certainly relate to your experiences. I, too, like to use LEGO as a means for relaxing and getting my mind off work and everyday's trivialities. However, I suppose I like problem solving. So when I build with LEGO, I like to experiment (...) (23 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.technic)
