    Re: Technicopedia Update —Eric Albrecht
Good news everyone! I have now added the sets from 1991 to Technicopedia including 8074, 8810, 8815, 8820, 8838, and 8856. (URL) You'll notice some other changes as well. Firstly, I have a new logo which is now rendered in 3D. The logo on the title (...) (16 years ago, 13-Dec-08, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

        Re: Technicopedia Update —Anders Isaksson
(...) Nice! One minor 'complaint' though: IMO, the 360 animations are rotating too fast, so it's difficult to really see any details. The super thing would be to have a controllable 360 rotation, so I could stop at any angle and look closer. I don't (...) (16 years ago, 13-Dec-08, to lugnet.technic)

         Re: Technicopedia Update —Eric Albrecht
(...) I wanted the animation to look smooth, and they look jerky if I use less than about 20 frames per second.       (...) You might also consider PTviewer. It is a java applet, so no plugin to install. See an example of use here: (URL) version of applet is available here: (URL) (16 years ago, 13-Dec-08, to lugnet.technic)

         Re: Technicopedia Update —Anders Isaksson
(...) Understood, it's just that I thought: When we *have* a 360 view, it would be nice to be able to look at it in my own time :-) (...) I like it. Of course it's small but as it can be stopped, it's still giving much more information than the free (...) (16 years ago, 13-Dec-08, to lugnet.technic)

         Re: Technicopedia Update —Eric Albrecht
(...) OK, round 3. The black background is just due to the fact that I rendered it with an alpha channel so it is transparent. My animation software made this black by default, but it is easy to change. So with that in mind.... I've made a new one (...) (16 years ago, 14-Dec-08, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

         Re: Technicopedia Update —Anders Isaksson
(...) Wohoo! Almost as good as having the real model! I realize it's too much work and bandwith, to realistically use it on every model, but it can definitely be a bonus link on some of them! (16 years ago, 14-Dec-08, to lugnet.technic)

        Re: Technicopedia Update —Owen Dive
(...) Eric. Love the work you've put in so far, and I'd like to help out. If you give me some set numbers for which you don't have LDraw files, I'd be willing to put some time in and draw them up, provided the Peeron instructions scans are available (...)         Re: Technicopedia Update —Eric Albrecht
I have now added the sets from 1992 to Technicopedia including 8826, 8828, 8836, 8837, 8839, and the great 8868. 8868 was a tremendous amount of work, but I hope you'll agree that it was worth it.         Re: Technicopedia Update —Stump Dunn
Great Work Eric ! 1992 was the first year of my dark ages and i've been trying to acquire these kits for some time now. Your work gives me insight into the mechanics of this fantastic period of Technic. Steve (16 years ago, 12-Jan-09, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) Hi Eric, awesome update. It's no wonder that I only have three technic universal sets in my collection - and one of these was a gift, 8020.      (...) Agreed. 8479 while having 4 models has a one clear "main" model. 8485 in my mind, has two main models and one alternate model. But neither are universal sets. 8094 is a universal set, in my line of thinking. (16 years ago, 17-May-09, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

        Re: Technicopedia Update —Eric Albrecht
And now, the moment you've all been waiting for. I've posted the 1994 update to Technicopedia. I processed over 1000 pictures for the 8880 page alone. Enjoy. Includes 1994 with sets 8032, 8062, 8808, 8812, 8816, 8829, 8858, and 8880. Adds pictures (...) (15 years ago, 3-Sep-09, to lugnet.technic, FTX) !

        Re: Technicopedia Update —Joshua Delahunty
(...) A minor MINOR quibble with the 8880 page, the hubs and tires were actually used in *two* other sets, rather than just one. Very much enjoyed your text and images, though. VERY nicely done. -- joshua (15 years ago, 4-Sep-09, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
