    New Stormtroopers —Matt Penney
Maybe I missed the boat and this is OLD news but in the 2001 pics I swear I see a classic stormtrooper. Yes? (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

        Re: New Stormtroopers —Eric Kingsley
(...) Yes you do which is great but by the picture it looks like we will only get it in one set (TIE Fighter) and there will only be one. So I am happy we will finally get the Stormtrooper but I am somewhat upset that it will still be very difficult (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

         Re: New Stormtroopers —Matt Penney
That doesn't seem like lego's style. What comes with the AT-ST? If not with it then I would hope they would be in small $5 sets not pictured. (...) very (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

          Re: New Stormtroopers —Eric Kingsley
(...) Actually I think it is just TLC's style. The seem to like to put highly sought after fig's in larger sets. That has not been the case with Star Wars so far but it has been the case with other themes in the past. At least that is my experiance. (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

          Re: New Stormtroopers —Steve Bliss
(...) It *has* been the case with Star Wars. The only young Obi-Wan minifig is only in a $50 set. The only source (currently) for Princess Leia and C3P0 is the Millenium Falcon (a $100 set). If you discount the minifig collectors sets, then (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

          Re: New Stormtroopers —Eric Joslin
(...) But is it young Obi-Wan you're concerned about getting, or the brown hood? I don't care about young Obi-Wan. I *do* care about the brown hood. (...) Don't forget that this is also the only set in which you can get an "A New Hope" version of (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

          Re: New Stormtroopers —James Simpson
(...) I think that there is something of an inverse relationship about this Luke fig. - he is the most marketable character to parents/young kids who aren't necessarily big fans. Luke has maybe a dozen different costumes - farm boy, pilot, Jedi in (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

          Re: New Stormtroopers —Eric Joslin
(...) You can already make a Bespin Luke. Take Luke's head and slap it on the body of the ground tech from the X-Wing set. The tech is wearing pilot's ground fatigues, and that's all Luke was wearing on Bespin. If and when Bespin sets come out, I (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

          Re: New Stormtroopers —James Simpson
(...) Granted, Lego probably won't do anything different than that (which is a good solution), though I'd still like to see something on the lines of the Falcon Han - with a low-slung holster/utility belt printed on the legs. Also, wasn't he wearing (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

         Re: New Stormtroopers —Eric Joslin
(...) You're just never going to be happy, are you? :D Seriously, though, judging by the Battle Droid 3-pack, I'd be willing to bet that in the next round of minifig 3-packs, we'll see a Stormtrooper 3-pack. I just wonder who they're going to pack (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers) —Eric Kingsley
OK here is a question what color do you think the highlights on the Stormtroopers will be? And what color do you think they should be? This is one of the common color missconceptions within Star Wars and I wonder if LEGO will get it right. Actually (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers) —James Simpson
(...) Wow - great trivia question. Midnight blue? Regarding Lego Stormtroopers, I'm wondering if they will have the Scout-Trooper goggle-faces or just a black head? My guess is that they will have the goggles, but I'd prefer plain black for use as (...) (24 years ago, 23-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers) —Eric Kingsley
(...) Close enough. Stormtrooper highlights are indead a shade of dark Blue. That said I bet we get black with the LEGO Stormtrooper seeing they couldn't even get the color of the Falcon right.           Re: What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers) —Dave Schuler
(...) At that scale, does it really matter if the color is a shade darker or lighter than it "should" be? Luke's eyes aren't dull LEGO brown, either, but it was close enough for minifigs.          Re: What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers) —Bryan Hodges
(...) I would hope that the helmet is solid... The Stormtroopers "visors" aren't inset like the scout troopers, or even the royal guards, they're more "bubbly" like Vader's. That said, the helmets need to be solid. I was hoping we'd get an AT-ST (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: What color do you think they will be was:(Re: New Stormtroopers) —Mark Sandlin
Not bad, Greg. I 'd suggest using a dark gray aviator's cap if you have one. I think one comes with the Podrace set, so they're probably not all that common. ~Mark (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars)

        Stormtrooper Helmet Hilights —Sean Harrington
